Bennett, 58 Dies: Funeral Friday

Final Rites for Woodrow Wilson Bennett, 58, of Azzara Avenue will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Webb and al Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. R. E. Trotter officiatng.

Entombment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Bennett died Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in a Summers County hospital following a long illness. He was a retired Chesapeake and Ohio Railway brakeman, having worked for 25 years for that company, and was member of the United Transportation Local 864 and the Wesleyan Chapel.

Born June 26, 1915, in Abraham, he was a son of the late Marion and Mary Bennett.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Nell Kincaid Bennett, two sons, Wilson of Grafton, and Okey of Amherst, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Gloreda Lehman of Amherst; a brother, Cecil Burlington of N. C; a sister, Mrs. Irene Kincaid of Burlington; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home today after 6 p.m.
