Cunningham H Huston was elected sheriff of Vinton County, Ohio for the 1874-1878 term. Before that he was a farmer. He and Harriet divorced sometime between 1880-1889 when he married his second wife Matilda "Tillie" Vester. Her death information is unknown at this time. Cunningham moved to Franklin County with Tille c1889 and became a superintendent of prisoner transfers at the Ohio Penitentiary. In his later years he was a night watchman at the Tracy Wells company and died at the age of 70 in the great 1913 flood. He presumably drowned in his home.
