H.E. Rittenberg Dies In Hospital Horace (Bob) Erwin Rittenberg, 71, a native of Lynden, Wash., and a resident of this area for the last two years, died yesterday in a local hospital. His home was at 540 Riverside drive, Capitola. A retired shingle weaver, he formerly was with the Anacortes Shingle company in Washington.
He is survived by his widow, Winifred I. Rittenberg of Captola; two sons, Donald E. Rittenberg of Portland, Ore., and Robert B. Rittenberg of Yakima, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Blankenship of Santa Clara and Mrs. Bette O'Dell of Anchorage, Alaska; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Wessendorf chapel with Rev. Marlin Bowman, Seminarian in charge of the Episcopal church of St. John the Baptist in Capitola, officiating. Private inurement will follow in the IOOF crematory.

Ashes were brought to Lynden and are buried in the family plot: Miles & Dollie Rittenburg & Horace & Winifred Rittenberg
