Don C. Grubbs, 5625 Highway Place, Everett, died Sept. 24, in a Seattle Hospital.
Mr. Grubbs was born April 23, 1906 in East Lewisberg, Ohio. He had lived in Eastern Washington and Montana before coming to Everett 20 years ago.
He had been an operating engineer in contracting and construction.
He had served with the U.S. Army during WW II.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 302, Seattle; D.A.V. Post 10, Everett and Church of God in Everett.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie E., a son, Douglas Else, Everett; daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Pat) Ryan, Pullman, Mrs. Reita Ryan, Montana, and Mrs. Ernest (Helen) Bunney, Everett; sister, Mrs Eva Sorensen, Montana; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Don C. Grubbs is the son of French Atwell Grubbs and Cora Etta Riley Grubbs.
Cause of death: Lung Cancer
