Obit from the Lake Stevens Journal:

Services were held Monday for James R. Lane, 15, who passed away November 1, 1990.

The Lake Stevens High School student will be missed by his peers, many of whom attended the funeral.

James, who had a history of heart problems, died at the school campus, apparently of a heart attack.

School principal Bob Estes said that although James had only been at the school for two months, he had made many friends.

School officials brought in counselors to help those friends deal with their grief. Many of the young people made cards to send the the family.

James excepted Christ as his savior three weeks before his death, this gives us strength to carry on.
