Park has suspect in stabbing death

Clatsop County District Attorney Bill Park will go to the grand jury, possibly as soon as Thursday, to seek an indictment in the stabbing death of 32 year-old Gary Raymond Else of Astoria.

Else died Tuesday morning of a stab wound in his chest. The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. at his rsidence.

Gary had been living in Everett and had broken off a relationship he had with a "older women", she had moved to Astoria, Oregon.

She was the murderer, and only was charged with manslaugter.

Gary's mother made the comment the day before his reported death that she wondered what Gary was up to, that she hadn't heard from him for about three weeks.

The next morning they got word from the Everett Police Department and my uncle had to go to Astoria, Oregon to identify his son.

Five months later his baby brother of 17 yrs passed away from a kidney cancer.

My dear aunt and uncle lost their first born son and their youngest son five months apart.

A special thank you to Barbara Hammons Davis, Dalton's Mom
for sponsoring Gary's Memorial page, you are an "Angel on Earth".
