Jamie Else, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Else, Of Everett, died September 18, 1978 in a local hospital.

He was born August 11, 1961 in Everett, Washington and had lived here all of his life.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Douglas James Else and Michael Grant Else both of Everett; two sisters, Cheryl Ann Lewis of Seattle and Pat Marie Lane of Everett; Grandmothers, Sadie Grubbs of Everett and Ivy May Riches of Northern Ireland; two aunts, Joan Dunwoody of Northern Ireland and Helen Bunney of Everett; and numerous cousins.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements under direction of Purdy & Walters Funeral Home.

James was a special needs child with Downs syndrome and was diagnosed with a 5 pound kidney tumor at the age of 17, dying shortly after that.

James died 5 months after his older brother Gary was murdered in Astoria, Oregon.
