Dorothy served in WWII as a member of the U.S. Army; active in the Concord Senior Center; belonged to the Anne Loucks Chapter of the DAR and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling. She is survived by her children, Jeanette (Bob) Ferguson, Bob (Sandy) Himel, Paul Himel, Kate Eseltine (Jack Eseltine, Harold Gillette) and Ann Himel; her grandchildren, Diana (Chris), Erica (Doug), Rob, Bill (Ginger), Robert, Gabriele, Johnny (Isabella), Daniel and Juliette; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Clay, Sterling, Adriana, Dominic and Steve, and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a California native, and a WWII Army Veteran. She was actively involved in the Concord Senior Center, the Anne Loucks Chapter of the DAR, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Concord. Visitation at Ouimet Bros.
