Peter was born in Alliance, NE on October 18, 1959 to Herbert E. and Faye (Leading Cloud) Black Bear. He passed away at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD on October 17, 2009.
He is survived by his daughter Virginia Black Bear; mother Faye Black Bear; brother Seth Black Bear; and sisters Lyndall, Gloria, Flora & Zelda Black Bear; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers Niobert & Bryan; and one sister Carol.
