Funeral services for Lucien E. Allison will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park

Mr. Allison, 57, of 475 N. 33rd St., died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital. Death was caused by cancer.

He had been the manager of the Walgreen Drug Co store at 260 N. Water St. since 1965 when he came from a similar position in Pontiac, Mich. He joined the Walgreen Co in 1938 after graduating from the University of Michigan School of Pharmacy.

He was born in Grawn, Mich., son of George L. and Emily E. Wallaker Allison and moved to Decatur with his appointment in the Walgreen Co.

Mr. Allison was a member of Wesley Methodist Church, an ex-trustee for the Walgreen Employes Trust Fund, a member of Masonic Lodge 78 AF&AM in Waukegan, and the Sword of Bunker Hill.

He married Ruth E. Dawson in 1933 in Chicago, and is survived by his wife, one son, Scott D., Decatur: one daughter, Mrs. R. Everett (Sandra) Lear, Tower Hill; three brothers, Donald B., Oak Park: Clarence W., Williston, N.D., Gordan Ray, Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters: Mrs. Harold (Florence) VanDulst, Mission, Tex.; Mrs. Jack (Mata) Montgomery, Hess Lake, Mich., and two grandchildren. One sister and one son preceded him in death.
