Annette Pearl Sweezy McSwain, 86, of 112 Cathedral View Drive, died Nov. 15, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Sallie Mae Hoxit Sweezy. She was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God and was a minister's wife. Mrs. McSwain and her husband enjoyed a 50-year ministry as pastors, administrators, and missionaries in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.)

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Phillip H. McSwain; a daughter, Myrna and her husband, Dr. Delton Alford of Cleveland, Tenn.; a brother, John Sweezy of Greenwood; four sisters, Regena Short, Kathryn Lundstrom, Mary Bates and Erin Mauldin, all of Greer; and three granddaughters, Susan (Scot) Carter of Cleveland, Tenn., Candace (Timothy) Price of Phoenix, and Leslie (Andrew) Smith of Savannah, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Carter, Caroline Carter, Emma Smith and Noah Price.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Praise Cathedral, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Madden, the Rev. Bobby Johnson, Dr. Delton Alford and Dr. Ray H. Hughes Sr.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Praise Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to World Missions, Praise Cathedral Church of God, 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650.
