James Ryan Sims married 1. Eliza Dierlam on Sept. 6, 1886 in Goliad Co., Texas; md 2. Annie Maria Dierlam (sister of Eliza) on Aug. 12, 1862 in Calhoun Co., Texas. He was the son of John Manning Sims and Maria Louise Jackson. Annie Maria was the daughter of John Dierlam and Catherine Coward. Children of James Ryan Sims and Annie Maria Dierlam (Morrow, Crow) are: Jessie Odell, *Effie Roberta (Newman), James Loraine, Ross Clark, Charlie Clark and Halley Sims. James Ryan Sims md 3. Bettie Orinda Newman, dtr of Henry Clay Newman and Orinda Ann Davis; their children are David Jackson, Eunice Geneva, Maria Louise, James Branch, Orien Magdline, Katie Jane, Bessie Lee, Ernest Lloyd and Alda Nora Sims. (Note: Lost Prong Cemetery is in Louisa, Wharton Co., TX.)
