Age 53, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Thursday after a lingering illness. He was born June 12, 1910 in Kaukauna and was a life resident. He was employed as a cost accountant for Kimberly Clark Corp. since 1929 and was a member of the Foreman's Club. Mr. Hardy served as a first ward alderman, Kaukauna from 1951 until 1957. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Veterens of Foreign Wars; American Legion; Eagles. He served in the Navy in World War II. Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife, Irene; his step-mother, Mrs. Maurice Hardy, Wrightstown; three brothers, William, Milwaukee; Thomas, Kaukauna; Maurice, Green Bay; one sister, Mrs. Tom (Kathryn) Neuman, Appleton.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 2 p.m. Friday where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m.
