Joseph V. Arnold Jr., 85, of Glen Carbon, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born April 17, 1926, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 5:42 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Arnold was the owner of Lakeside Roofing in Collinsville, Ill. He was a World War II U.S. Marine veteran.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph V. and Florence, nee Schaffner, Arnold Sr.; and a brother, Jack Arnold.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara, nee MacCubbin, Arnold of Glen Carbon, Ill., whom he married on June 17, 1988; children, Duane (Carla) Arnold of Maryville, Ill., and Hanje (Brandon) Kelley of Glen Carbon, Ill.; five grandchildren, Brittany and Alexis Arnold and Bronson, Connor and Chase Kelley; and a sister, Mary Jean (Bill) Westerheide of Waterloo, Ill.
