Graveside services for Farrar Martin "Buck" Alexander Jr., 70, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 13, 2007, in Natchez, will be 2 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Coleman Allmond officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Alexander was born Nov. 1, 1936, in Stanton, the son of Farrar Martin Alexander Sr. and Ruth Carmen French Alexander. He retired from Adams County Road Department after 40 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Martha Lea Isemann and Marilyn Bailey.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Estelle Dier Alexander of Natchez; sisters, Katherine Bates and husband, Jack, Frances Hammond and Carolyn Hill and husband, Jim, all of Natchez; brothers, Charles M. Alexander and wife, Belle, of Ruston, La., Robert F. Alexander and wife, Shirley, of Harvey, La.; brother-in-law, Melvin P. Isemann of Gretna, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billy Floyd, Randy Jordan, T.J. Bailey, Jerry Buckles, Jim Hill and Brian Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
