"Ronald Leroy Simpson Jr. 58, of Kansas City, MO died June 3, 2011 at Clara Manor in Kansas City.

Ronald was born January 7, 1953, in Chillicothe, MO the son of Ronald Leroy Simpson Sr. and Thelma Fern Engleman Simpson Buttman. He was a 1971 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Ronald worked at recycling in a salvage business in the Kansas City area.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Buttman of Chillicothe; two children, Bridget Simpson and Sterling Simpson, both of Kansas City, MO; a brother, John Simpson and wife of Tamra, of St. Joseph, MO; two sisters, Connie Landino and husband Michael, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Lisa Jones and husband Rodney, of Chillicothe, MO; several nieces; aunts; uncles and cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Lavon Engleman; paternal grandparents, Henry and Alice Simpson; an aunt and a cousin.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe." The Kansas City Star, June 5, 2011
