Leslie was the son of Dennis and Bessie (Pascal) Edwards. He married Cleo Mozelle Brown in 1931 and they had three children: Betty, Shirley and Jerry Monroe.

LESLIE EDWARDS

JAMESTOWN - Leslie "Lum" Monroe Edwards of 4314 Vickrey Chapel Road died Friday at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Jamestown, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
A native of Guilford County, he was a retired employee of Flowers Bakery.
Surviving are wife, Cleo Mozelle Brown Edwards; daughters, Mrs. Betty Vuncannon, Mrs. Shirley Meredith, both of Jamestown; son, Jerry Monroe Edwards of Jamestown, sisters, Mrs. Novella Landreth, Mrs. Essie Phelps, both of Greensboro; brother, Archie Edwards of Greensboro; nine grandchildren.
The family will be at Sechrest Funeral Home in High Point 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
