Ramona Carol Muncy, age 80, of 2332 Pisgah Road, Princeton, and formerly of McDowell County, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Bailey's Elder Care in Princeton. Born on April 9, 1931 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Sherfield and Tish Sparks. She had been a resident of Princeton for 25 years and was of the Methodist faith. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Muncy; two sons, Johnny Ray and Bobby Lee Muncy; two brothers, Jack and Herman Sparks; and one sister, Helen Laneave.
