Esther E. Hershberger, 97, formerly of S. Lane Street, died at 2:30 a.m., today, December 20, 1991, in Heartland of Bucyrus.

She was born June 18, 1894 in Holmes Township to John W. and Christina (Pfeifer) Hershberger, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Cora Hershberger, Pearl Lust and Mary Angene.

She is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Carol Bigler and Mrs. Dorothy Brause of Sycamore, and Mrs. Eileen Harrer of Bucyrus.

Miss Hershberger attended Holmes Township Scdhool and worked at Baumoels and was manager of Jean Flock's Dress Shop until her retirement in August, 1966.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Naomi Ruth Circle and Bucyrus Golden Agers.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday at the Wise Funeral Home with Reverend L. Chris Martin officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon Sunday with the family receiving friends from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
