SLAVENS, Mrs Tracy (maiden name Perks) was born in Montgomery Co, Ky, 7 Jan 1794. She was married to Thomas Slavens and removed to Montgomery co, Mo, in the autumn of 1830 and died in Lincoln co, 19 Mar 1870, in the 77th year of her age. For the encouragement of mothers, her children (nine in number) professed religion and joined the Church before her death. - Joseph S. Allen, Jonesburg, Mo.
