Mrs. Minerva K. Adams, beloved wife of K. Adams, who resided near DeSoto expired at their home Sunday night at 11 p.m. Paralysis had kept Mrs. Adams to her bed for the last 10 weeks.
Mrs. Adams was born in Tennessee November 13, 1857, and came early to DeSoto Township, where she had spent practically all her life. The following children survive: George and Walter, Mrs. Ida Shirley, Mrs. Dora Holleran, all of Hurst, Harry and John of Ava, Vance of East St. Louis and Mrs. Grace Duncan of Vergennes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 24 at Jacob, Ill. Rev. Marion Barringer will officiate. Burial in Glen Cemetery.
