She was born on December 11th 1923 in Vergennes, Vt., the daughter of John Edward and Samantha LeBeau, and was one of nine children.
She attended school in Vergennes, Vt.
She married Albert "Al" Francis Abair on June 2nd 1941. The couple just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Bea worked at Van Raalte in Middlebury, Vt.
Her greatest passion was as a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, cooking and keeping a spotless home.
She and her husband enjoyed years on the road with their camper and met many lifelong friends.
She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 14 in Vergennes, Vt., and a member of the St. Ann Society at St. Peter's.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 10th 2011 at 1 p.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Vergennes.
Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes, Vt.
Stephen C. Gregory Cremation Services of Shelburne, Vt. are in charge of arrangements.
