Despite what his grave marker states, Ron Grayson actually served during the Korean War. He was deeply patriotic and proud of his military service. He worked as a salesman and manager for Sears Roebuck Company for many years. His real passion was music, especially Country and Western music. If his eyes were open you could count on there being music in the air! His burial flag was donated to the cemetery, and flies on all clear days among those of his fellows whose flags line the road at Chatanooga National Cemetery.
