MARION - Roger Allan Hollar, age 64, of 104 E. 14th Street, Marion, IN, died at 5:15 pm, Wednesday, June 8, at Marion General Hospital due to a sudden illness. He was born March 3, 1947 in Elkhart, IN to Richard and Marjorie (Brown) Hollar. Mr. Hollar was a resident of Genesis Place in Marion, IN and was formerly of Nappanee. He was a graduate of Nappanee High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Nappanee American Legion.
He is survived by a son, Seth (Lisa) Hollar of Carbondale, CO, 2 Grandchildren, and 2 Brothers, Gary Hollar of Tampa, FL and Mike (Rose) Hollar of Warsaw, IN.
Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 pm on Monday, June 13 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee, where funeral services will be held at 2:00. Pastor Greg Boyland of Genesis Place will officiate. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery. Military Graveside Services will be performed by the Nappanee American Legion.
