The daughter of Gunther Columbus Briggs of Madison County NC and Rosa Dixie Hines Briggs of Murfreesboro NC. Married Richard Dudley Jordan II* on December 27, 1917 in Waynesboro, Haywood County NC. They were the parents of Rosa-Elizabeth (Bagby)* and Richard Dudley Jordan III*. Posthumously the grandparents of Ricdard Dudley Jordan IV, William James Hail Jordan*, Victoria Alicia Riegert and Richard Dudley Bagby. She and Richard lived their married life in Norfolk VA until her death in 1939.
Helen attended Virginia Intermont College in Bristol VA.
