William J "Bill Boy" Hanchey was the son of Colonel William J "Bill" Hanchey Sr and his wife Freda Knight Hanchey. His body was donated to medical science to the Medical College of Georgia so that he could once again serve his county as he had served it before in the United States Army. The college states that William was memorialized in 1997 and Decatur Cemetery verified that William's remains were interred in grave number 6 at Decatur Cemetery, Bell Street, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.

From duplicate (will sort and correct) William J "Bill Boy" Hanchey Jr was the son of William J "Bill" Hanchey Sr and his wife Freda Knight Hanchey. His body was donated to the Medical College of Georgia so that he might serve once again to save lives, like he had served his country before in the United States Army.
