GRAND RAPIDS RESIDENT DIES;
WILLIAM BEDEI PROMINENT AREA MAN,
DIES IN STREATOR HOSPITAL
GRAND RIDGE--(SPECIAL)
William H. Bedei, school director in Grand Rapids Township and a Justice-of-the-Peace in that township for many years, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's hospital, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Shields Funeral Home at Grand Ridge, with Rev. Bronson N. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Grand Rapids M.E. cemetery.....
Mr. Bedei was born in Otter Creek Towhship, July 31, 1870, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bedei. He married the former Julia Horn at Ottawa, March 15, 1905. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Methodist church in Grand Ridge.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Mildred Hermann of Streator; Raymond Bedei and Herbert Bedei both of Grand Ridge (exactly Grand Rapids Twp.); three grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, who died June 11, 1961; his parents; one grandson, Richard Hermann and two sisters.

Pallbearers were Royal Widman, Elmer Kates, Herbert Roseling, Lester Horn, William C. Ott and Walter C. Hagie. In charge of floral tributes were Mrs. Herbert Roseling and Mrs. Roma Meredith.
Burial was at the Grand Rapids M.E. Cemetery with the Rev. Bronson N. Smith of the First Methodist church of Grand Ridge officiating
