Edmund George Bailer of Stockbridge, MI, age 58, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011. He was born May 16, 1953 in Howell, MI, the son of Meno Edmund Bailer and Beverly (Catrell) Chedister. On March 21, 1987 he married Debora Sheathelm and she survives. Edmund loved hunting, fishing, and was an umpire and referee for high school basketball, baseball, and softball. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Andrea (Ryan) Curtis of Oxford, Carmen Bailer of Lansing, Meagan Bailer of Ft. Hood, TX, and Nathan Bailer of Stockbridge; one grandson, Owen Curtis; his mother, Beverly Chedister of Au Gres; and two brothers, Ralph (Jennifer) Bailer of Williamston and Kenny Bailer of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his father, M. Edmund Bailer, and a brother, Keith Bailer.
