Joseph Eli Bush Sr., 83, of Brown Summit, died Tuesday night at Moses Cone Hospital. A World War I veteran, he was a lifelong resident of Guilford County.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The family will be at Forbis & Dick Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Survivors include wife, Mrs. Annie Brewer Bush; sons, John Paul Bush of Alaska, Donald Lee Bush of Winston-Salem and Larry Wayne, Joseph E. and Carlton Bush of Greensboro; daughters, Mrs. Doris Sells, Mrs. Christine Welborn and Mrs. Kathy Richardson, all of Greensboro; sisters, Miss Mary Ann Bush of Greensboro; and brothers, Thomas Bush of Roanoke Rapids and Lawrence and Oliver Bush of Greensboro.
