Neil F. Murray, 69, of Granite Falls, died Jan.9, 1986, in a Monroe nursing home. He was born Jan. 5, 1917, in Clearwater, Wash. He was a resident of Granite Falls for two and one-half years, and had previously lived in Wrangell, Ala. He was a member of Bellingham Moose Lodge, Granite Falls Eagles, and Pioneers of Alaska. He was a member of The Bethel Tabernacle Church in Granite Falls. He leaves his daughters, Lurene, Patty, Carol, and Mary Ann; his sons, Fred and Neil; his step-mother Zetta Davis of Everett; his sisters, Maxine Adler of Granite Falls, and Josephine Neadeau of Monroe; his brother, Gordon of Bellingham; and numerous nieces and nephews. No services will be held at his request. Memorials may be made to Monroe Convalescent Center. Arrangements under the direction of Purdy & Kerr in Monroe.
Neil's ashes are buried in his father's grave (George Norman Murray)in the Wrangell Cemetery.
