William C. Anton, beloved husband and father, of Belmont, MI, passed away January 23, 2007 in Apache Junction, AZ. Bill retired from the U.S. Post Office. He was in the Army Air Corp. during WWII and served in the South Pacific. He was a long time member and past president of the Creston Rod and Gun Club and past commander of the American Legion Post #0356. He was born in Hart, Michigan on March 4, 1922 to Chris and Fern Antonopulos. Surviving are his widow, Mary; sons, James (Mareanne), Charles Antonopulos (Denise) and Patrick Anton (Sharon); sister, Vivian Degner (Richard) and sister-in-law, Donna Antonopulos. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Thomas and sister, Jane Antonopulos.
