Mrs. S.A. Lawson, formerly of San Angelo, who had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alta McGowan, 303 West Larkin, for the past four months, died Sunday afternoon at 6 o'clock.

Mrs. Lawson was born in Alabama on September 2, 1886.

Surviving are four sons, E.T. Lawson of New Castle, G.C. Lawson of Oklahoma City, B.H. Lawson of Oklahoma City, C.W. Lawson of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Ada Hogg of San Angelo, Mrs. McGowan of Athens, Mrs. Annie Willoughby of Van Alstyne; one brother, John Youngblood of Dallas, and eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Mattie Kee of El Paso preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Bristol cemetery in Ellis county Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Bristow of Corsicana officiating. Burial was in the Bristol cemetery.

The Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home of Athens was in charge of arrangements.
