Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in the chapel of Melton Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Moore and Earl Holden officiating.
Burial was in Bumgarner Cemetery.
Born April 13, 1933, in Swain County, she was a daughter of the late Cola and Myrtle Raby Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Holcombe; two brothers, G.T. Adams and Jack Adams; and one sister, Louise Ledford.
Surviving are two daughters, Carla Wilkey of Whittier and Sharon Bryson of Gastonia; one son, Bobby Holcombe of Smiths, Ala.; three sisters, Hazel Long of Fletcher, and Becky Harper and Martha Wiggins, both of Gastonia; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
