The Morning Call Paterson, New Jersey Tuesday, February 27, 1945;
Nicholas W. Smith, 80 Dies of Heart attack, beloved husband of Jane Van Antwerp passed away at his home on Winona Ave, Lincoln Park, 1:30 a.m. Monday. Born in New Brunswick , son of the late J. Martin and Mary H. Wyckoff Smith. He has resided in Lincoln Park for 22 years having come from Passiac. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have been members of the First Reformed Church in which for some years was clerk of the Consistory. Besides his wife he eaves a daughter Mrs. Wilbur D. Brown of Lincoln Park, and a son James Willard Smith of New Brunswick, and five grandchildren
The funeral will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 8 p.m. with Rev. C. Vander Naald of the Lincoln Park Church officiating with Rev. G.C. Pool of Union City assisting.
Interment Willow Grove with Rev. Jasper S. Hogan officiating.
