Palmyra Lewis was a native of Petersburg, Rensselaer County, New York.
Sometime after 1850, she became the second wife of Elisha Williams Bartlett, probably in Rensselaer County, New York . Palmyra Lewis was the sister of Fanny Lewis Hall, who in 1865 became the fourth wife of Levi Bullock in Rock County, Wisconsin.
Elisha and Palmyra (Lewis) Bartlett, with their children, moved from Rensselaer County, New York, to Rock County, Wisconsin, around 1868, perhaps because of her sister Fanny Lewis Hall's 1865 marriage to Levi Bullock, father of Hiram Janes Bullock.
Hiram Janes Bullock's first wife, Lucinda Hall, who he married in 1861, was the daughter of Palmyra Lewis' older sister Fanny Lewis and her first husband, Maxon Hall.
In 1874, Louisa Bartlett, daughter of Elisha W. Bartlett and his first wife Margaret Corcoran (Louisa apparently also moved with the Bartlett family from Rensselaer County, New York, to Rock County, Wisconsin) became the second wife of Hiram Janes Bullock.
But by 1875 Elisha and Palmyra Bartlett were back in Troy, New York, where they both died.

File #643 at the Surrogate Court of Troy, NY, contains the following petition for administration of the estate of Palmyra Lewis Bartlett:
