Funeral services were held Wednesday Feb 8 at 1 p.m. at the Williams & Coltrin Funeral Chapel.
Burial was in the Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
He moved to Idaho Falls in 1938 and worked for the Neilson Brothers Sheep Co. and for the Carl E. Nelson construction Co.
He was born Sept 21, 1900 in Ohiowa Neb. to Joseph and Mary Scharbacher Kronhofman. He attended schools and grew up there.
On Feb 23, 1923, he married Mae Mulinix and they farmed in Ohiowa, Neb. They were divorced in 1938.
After moving to Idaho Falls in 1938, he married Vella Porter Ashment on Oct 9, 1957.
He is survived by his wife; four stepsons, Blaine Ashment, Rigby, Norris Ashment, Idaho Falls, Theron Ashment, Swan Valley, and Theo Ashment, Las Vegas,, Nev.; two stepdaughters, Mrs Jim W. (Beula H.) Chesak Idaho Falls, and Mrs Max (Madge) Jacobsen, Irwin; 40 step-grandchildren; and 45 step-great grandchildren.
