She was born in Jasper County, S.C., and lived in Savannah the past 68 years.
She was a 1937 graduate of Warren A. Candler School of Nursing and worked as a
registered nurse for Dr. Oscar Lott and Dr. Dearing Nash.
She was a member of Bull Street Baptist Church, the Women's Missionary Union,
taught the Faith Friendship Sunday School Class for more than 25 years and was a
member of Warren A. Candler School of Nursing Alumni Association. She was the
widow of Harry T. Altman.
SURVIVORS: a brother, Herbert Roberts of Savannah; and several nieces and
nephews.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial
Chapel.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial
Chapel, burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
REMEMBRANCES: Bull Street Baptist Church.
