Christened "Hannah" 26 Oct 1834 in Birstall, Yorkshire, England at St. Peter's parish. She was the daughter of James Bentley and Ann Calvert. The family emigrated to the U.S. in the early-1840s, after the 1841 U.K. Census in which the family was living in Wortley, Leeds, Yorkshire West Riding and Hannah was 6 years old. Her siblings were Thomas Calvert Bentley, Mary Ann, Betsey, James, Ellen, Jane, Samuel and Joseph. She married George W. Wiley 02 Jan 1855 in La Salle, Illinois. They had five children: George H., Arthur J., Rosella, Charley and Emma. Her husband George died in 1878. She married Henry N. Decker in 1880. He died in 1903.
