Russiaville—Funeral services for Herschel W. Criss, 82, West Middleton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Stout Funeral Home here with the Rev. Charles Dunmoyer officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
Mr Criss died Tuesday in Windsor Estates at Kokomo following a nine-month illness.
Born in Piatt County, Ill., May 14, 1886, he was the son of Clark A. and Mary (Traxler) Criss.
On Feb. 26, 1928* he was married to Virginia Smith, who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Merrell (Helen) Spence, Galveston; three sons, Ralph, Kenneth, and Dan Criss, all of Kokomo; two brothers, Oscar Criss, Belleville, Mich., and Clark W. Criss, Center; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister and two brothers are deceased.
He was a retired employee of the former Globe American Corp. here and a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
