Frances Christina Dinger born April 23, 1919 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Leo and Mary Marak, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, September 8, 2005, at the age of 86. She married Charles Dinger in 1940 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was a devoted and loving wife to Charles for 63 years until his death in 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Marak and sisters, Rosemary Sams and Margaret Gann. She is survived by 5 children and their spouses, Diane and Bob Amend of Edmond, Mike and Pam Dinger, Mary Martha and Albert McCutcheon, Jim and Dee Dinger, all of Oklahoma City, and Melinda and Dan Losey of Lake Charles, Louisiana, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. For all of those who knew Frances, they had the honor of knowing a gentle and loving woman devoted to her family and church. She was a 48-year member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The kindness and love with which she touched our hearts will forever be remembered.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Mercy Hospital, Cancer Care Associates, St. Ann's Assisted Living, Bellevue Nursing Center and Autumn Bridge Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Frances name. An evening prayer service will be held at Smith and Kernke Chapel, on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 12, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Smith and Kernke Funeral Directors.
