Two Frankston high school students, W.H.Boles seventeen and Drew Bizzell seventeen, deowned about 11:00 o'clock Friday night, eight miles south of Frankston.
The bodies of the two boys were recovered on Saturday.
From the Athens Weekly Review Newspaper dated May 11, 1939 --- Funeral services for W.H. Boles and Drew Bizzell, 17 year old Frankston High School students, who were drowned Friday night in Todd Lake while on a picnic, were held Sunday afternoon in Frankston.
An unusually large crowd attended both Funerals. Bizzell's remains were laid to rest in the Liberty Hill Cemetery while the body of Boles was buried in the Frankston Cemetery.
Boles lived with his aunt, Miss Mae Pickens, his parents having preceded him in death.
Bizzell is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Bizzell, one brother, Frank, and two sisters, Geneva Catherine, and Annie Doris.
