Suggested edit: Mrs. Milinda C. Hilt Elston, 90, a former resident of Tippecanoe township, died Saturday afternoon at the Ross Annex Sanitarium in Lafayette. Mrs. Elston had fallen and suffered a broken hip in September.
Born in Chicago in 1871, she was the daughter of William and Sara Moser Hilt. Her marriage was to Jay Frank Elston in 1903. He died in 1943 and since that time she had resided with a sister, Miss Lydia Hilt of 31 North 22nd Street in Lafayette.
Surviving are three sons, Dane Elston of route 1, Delphi; Tom Elston of route 4, Delphi; Edward Elston of Lafayette and the sister, Miss Lydia Hilt.
Rites were conducted Tuesday with Rev. H. Earl Moore officiating. Burial was in Pretty Prairie cemetery.
