Amalia P. Ingham
, 88, Seattle, formerly of Kansas City, died Nov. 21, 1992, at a hospital in Seattle. Memorial services will be at noon Friday at the Church of the Epiphany, Seattle; private burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Seattle. The family suggests contributions to the Nelson Gallery.

Mrs. Ingham was born in San Francisco and lived in Kyoto, Japan, before moving to Kansas City in the 1920s. She moved to Vancouver, Canada, in the 1930s and to Seattle in 1940. She was a nurses' aide at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle during World War II. She received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1962. She was a member of the Hillside Guild of Children's Hospital in Seattle.

She was a docent at the Seattle Art Museum and a member of the Seattle Tennis Club, the Sunset Club, and the Women's University Club in Seattle. She was a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America.

She was a member of the church and its alta r guild. Her father, the late Sidney C. Partridge, was Episcopal bishop of Western Missouri. Her first husband, Frederic P. Lyman Jr., died in 1933. Her second husband, Frederick W. Ingham, died in 1987. Survivors include two sons, Frederic P. Lyman III, Los Angeles, and William P. Ingham, Seattle; a daughter, Laura Ingham Lindstrom, Bainbridge Island Winslow, Wash.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
