Old Resident of Manitowoc Dies
Manitowoc, Wis.—Funeral services for Frank Oswald, 81, a resident
of Manitowoc County for more than 70 years who died Thursday, will
be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the home of his son, Anton, in Taus,
and at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Catholic church at Riefs (sic)
Mills. Mr. Oswald was born in Bohemia in 1855 and came to America
with his parents while a small boy. He was married to Miss Rose Hurska of
Franklin, who died 10 years ago. Survivors are four daughters and three sons.

Taus. Born in Bohemia 1856. Came to U.S. with parents when boy.
Married Miss Rose Hurska (sic) at Franklin and located on farm in
town. Mrs. Oswald died 10 years ago. Survived by three sons and four
daughters. Funeral Saturday 9:30 a.m. from Anton Oswald home, 10 a.m.
St. Augustine's church, Reifs Mills. Interment church cemetery. Body
at Anton Oswald home.
