Funeral services for Johnny L. Adams, 48, of Wisner will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winnsboro. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 18, at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Wisner from 5 - 7 p.m. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery near Wisner under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Winnsboro.
Mr. Adams, a loan officer, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Adams, Wisner; son, Johnny Adams Jr., Wisner; daughter, Kasy Adams, Baton Rouge; sisters: Nina Spruel, Baton Rouge; Gloria Adams, Chicago; Marcella Adams, Alexandria; brothers: Roger Adams and Micheal Adams, both of Houston, Texas; Calvin Adams, Sicily Island; Eurdis Adams, Liddieville; Melvin Adams, Mt. Morris, Mich.; Glen Adams, Stafford, Texas; mother-in-law Beverly Harris, Moreauville, La.
Pallbearers will be Greg Brown, Elijah Rose, John Austin, Daryl Adams, Willie Sensley Jr. and Fitzgerald Guillory.
