There are two avenues named after him in Bakersfield, California. Truxtun Avenue and Beale Avenue. There is also a park named Beale, a clocktower named Beale and a library named Beale. All were gifts to the city from his mother and himself. I believe in honor of his father, General Edward Fitzgerald Beale.
