Dillard B. Brixey

East Wenatchee, WA

Dillard B. Brixey was born March 5, 1923, in Jetmore, KS to Oliver and Grace Brixey. In 1936, due to dust storms, they moved to Ava, MO, where he finished his schooling. He was drafted in the Navy and served at the Pearl Harbor Submarine Base. In 1945, he met and married Pauline Tate, then moved to East Wenatchee, WA, where he worked as a builder and subcontractor for 45 Years. After retirement, they spent 16 years snow birding to Arizona.

Dillard is survived by one daughter, Pat Lannoye (Ron) of Malaga, WA; a sister, Belva Christophersen of Redmond, WA; two grandchildren, Wayne Lannoye (Geneise) of East Wenatchee, WA and Wendy Johnson of Everett, WA; and great-grandchildren, Ashley and Kayla Lannoye.

A Committal Service for Dillard will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011, at Wenatchee City Cemetery, in Wenatchee, WA. Memorial donations may be made to the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
