MRS. HATTIE (DICK) ADAMS
Wife of David M. Adams and residing at 424 East Main street, Roaring Spring, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 1.10 o'clock at the Nason hospital where she was admitted only a short time before in a critical condition. Mrs. Adams was apparently in good health at 11.30 o'clock, when she was stricken and called to a neighbor that she was taken ill. Mr. Adams was summoned and a physician was called and Mrs. Adams was taken to the hospital immediately. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Dick and was born near Roaring Spring on Aug. 14, 1875. She was united in marriage on Dec. 29, 1895, with Mr. Adams, who survives, with one son, Elmer Adams, at home, and these brothers and sisters: Ezra Dick of Ore Hill, Mrs. Ella Ellis and Miss Irene Dick, both of Bakers Summit, and Mrs. Edna Croft of Roaring Spring. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. D.I. Pepple of Woodbury. Interment will be made in the Albright cemetery.
