Charley Hobbs was born March 19, 1882 in Chillicothe, MO to Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hobbs. He was married Sept. 23, 1906 to Lena Louella Orr in Webb City, MO. Lena was born in Houston, MO. Charley had retired from Hercules Power Co., Carthage, MO. At the time of his death he and Lena were living at 1315 Forest, Carthage, MO. They had two children. Karl Hobbs, who lived in Carthage, MO and a daughter, Clara Williams who passed away in 1941 and is buried at Curtis Cemetery.
