Born in New York to Mario and Hilda (Padilla) Sanchez- Priscilla was the only child they had together. Born in New York and raised in New Jersey she grew up around family and always made friends where ever she went. After graduating from Plainfield High School she came out to California in hopes of discovering new opportunities and starting her future in a new place. She joined the Peace Corps in San Jose and began fulfilling some of her hopes and dreams, it was at this period that she met her future husband, Simon Hernandez Jr. They married and had three children; Teresa, Manuel and Jose.... Unfortunately Priscilla's marriage was not to be, she raised three children as a single parent while dealing with challenges in life. As time went on life began to take it's toll, her health slowly started to deteriorate from Diabetes. She did the best that she could and fought her fight but sadly she succumbed to her illness; at the young age of 42, Priscilla passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She passed much too soon and will forever be missed by her children, family and many friends. Her final rites were given at Our Lady Of Guadalupe church in San Jose. She was Laid to Rest with her father. May God bless you mom and may you rest in everlasting peace.
